Extra-curricular activities are an important part of a student’s school life. Bishop Canevin offers a broad and varied extra-curricular program including activities of interest to most every student. All students are strongly encouraged to participate in at least one activity, and are invited to explore as many as possible.
Bishop Canevin’s robust activities programs allow students to expand their minds through creativity and enrichment outside the classroom. Collaboration with professionals of various fields, involvement in service projects, and the fun of social interactions helps students to develop fully into well-rounded young men and women.
At Bishop Canevin High School, students are encouraged to be themselves, to reach deep within their creative minds to express who they are and expand their knowledge beyond the textbook. Students work together to make a difference in their school, their lives and the lives of others. Through our varied activities, students gain access to many professionals throughout the area who lead them in experiences that touch the lives of others.
Through FBLA they experience the world of business; through Campus Ministry the understanding of their faith grows; through Junior Achievement they can enhance the learning of younger students. These various paths open doors to the future for many students. Our graduates do not leave our school with just a textbook education. They journey on as well-rounded individuals set for future success.
