Welcome and thank you for considering Bishop Canevin for your student’s future. Your investment in Catholic education is appreciated and valued. Since my start in this role earlier in the school year, Bishop Canevin has quickly become home for me. The dynamic culture and family-like community has helped me become acclimated to the school and it is a privilege to see such openness and receptivity at work every day among the BC family. Everyone is consistently ready to offer assistance or a kind word, regardless of who is on the receiving end.
Our culture is not the only thing that makes Bishop Canevin stand out. We are committed to excellence in our academics, our numerous activities and athletics. Our students step onto our campus and find that Bishop Canevin helps them to unlock their full potential. We encourage exploration as well as excellence because we believe that every individual should be given the chance to try something new. Many of our students participate in multiple activities and find themselves involved in a variety of things including drama, music, art, National Honor Societies, athletics and more. It truly is the land of opportunity.
BC is invested and committed to continual growth: In the spring of 2020, we will open our brand-new Reed Family Broadcasting Studio and will begin work on the new Michael Maloney Fitness Center and our second Model Classroom. These initiatives, along with our new Innovation Lab that opened this fall are beautiful examples of Bishop Canevin’s exciting new future while still honoring the traditions of our past.
Bishop Canevin has an impressive history that we are reminded of as we celebrate our 60th birthday this November. With over 10,000 alumni and years of experience and growth we are proud to be an institution with such a rich history and hope for the future.
Regardless of the path you are on I encourage you to consider Bishop Canevin for your family and your student’s future. I am confident they will find their place in our halls and among our outstanding students, faculty, and staff. It is our honor to partner with you and I look forward to helping you start your journey as a Crusader.
