This course is for students who have had a background in algebra in elementary school but have not demonstrated sufficient mastery to move into an accelerated level. Topics presented include: evaluating algebraic expressions, solving linear equations, functions, operations with polynomials, and operations with algebraic fractions, solving quadratic equations, ratios and proportions, integral exponents, equations in two variables, slope, and systems of equations.
