This course begins with the relationships of points, lines and planes. Other topics include parallel and perpendicular lines, triangle congruence and similarity, right triangle relationships, special quadrilaterals, circles, coordinate geometry, and solid geometry. Two column deductive proofs are emphasized, and coordinate-based arguments are stressed to strengthen student understanding of the Algebra-Geometry connection. Topics are presented in more depth at this level.
