This survey course will cover the history of art from prehistory to the present. Students will study historically significant works of art including architecture, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. through this full year course, students will learn to identify, analyze, and discuss artworks from a variety of cultures an stylistic periods. This class will take up a lot of time. Strong organization and time management skills are helpful. Requires AVLI fee. Students who register for this course are encouraged to take the AP Art History examination in May (approximate cost $93).
