Alumni

Stay Connected to BC!

We invite you to take a look around on our website and connect with us on social media. We have a lot of alumni events that happen throughout the year and we would love to see you there. Stay connected with Bishop Canevin by updating your contact info within our Donor Snap platform, following us on social media, and subscribing to our Alumni newsletter.

Welcome back Crusaders!

Bishop Canevin High School has been a second home to thousands of individuals over the years, including our dedicated and caring alumni base. We are fortunate to have such a strong community of former students, and we encourage you to remember where you got started by finding ways to give back to BC. Our students thrive because of the support showcased through everyday life at Bishop Canevin, and we hope you will consider making a contribution to help us continue to provide an exceptional education. As the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:7, Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. So please join us in giving back to Bishop Canevin High School and helping our students succeed.

Sincerely,

Executive Director of Advancement and Business Manager,

Joe Milharcic

Ways to Support BC

Support Events

Bishop Canevin hosts several fundraising events throughout the year, including The Annual Crusader Classic Golf Outing, Night at the Races, Giving Day, Evening of Excellence, All Alumni Cookout, and the Canevin Classic Car Cruise. These events are open to the entire BC Community and offer great opportunities for alumni to reconnect with the school and its current families and facultystaff members.

We appreciate any support you can provide, whether it’s purchasing a ticket, bidding in a silent online auction, sponsoring, or simply spreading the word among Crusader friends. Your support helps us continue to offer these wonderful events and strengthen our community.

Crusader Legacy Opportunities

Donate to the Annual Fund

The Bishop Canevin Fund is the school’s most important and ongoing fundraising effort and plays an essential role in offering the young men and women of Bishop Canevin the best possible education in the best possible facilities. While tuition revenue covers a major portion of the school’s operations, it does no cover 100%. The Bishop Canevin Fund helps bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the increasing cost of operating the school.

In addition, an annual donation to the Bishop Canevin Fund provides critical support to the school’s financial aid program. The generosity of alumni, parents, and friends makes it possible for eligible students to have the benefit of a Bishop Canevin education regardless of financial circumstances.

Support of the Bishop Canevin Fund ensures that Bishop Canevin’s education continues its legacy of an exceptional learning experience that encourages each student to enrich their faith, explore opportunities, and exceed expectations.

Redirect Your State Taxes to Support BC!

Qualified contributors to the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program earn a 90% state tax credit while directing their contribution to Bishop Canevin High School for scholarships.

Originally limited to businesses, the program expanded in 2014 to allow qualified individuals to also take part in the program.  Every year, scores of business and individuals enjoy EITC tax benefits while helping students who would not otherwise be able to afford a Catholic education.

Email Advancement Director, Joe Milharcicmilharcicj@bishopcanevin.org if interested in participating in the program!

The academy was established in 1935 to provide advanced investigative, management and fitness training to law enforcement officers who have proven themselves to be leaders for their organization.
