Letter From The President

Dear BC Community,

I was appointed by the bishops because I have done this before. I have worked with struggling schools to bring them back to greatness. I have a Master’s of Education degree in Computer Science. I have 20 years experience at Penn State and Carnegie Mellon. My connections are vast and my imagination and passion are unmatched. I will give you everything I have! Everyday, all day!

I envision a place where students feel safe, loved, respected and supported. We will all have discipline and order to ensure we are modeling professional behavior. We will not lead from the back but from the front! We will epitomize what a Catholic education is supposed to look like.

We will get there by being present and celebrating everything we do! People have lost track of what BC can be. I have not! My team and I will implement an enrollment strategy so bold, people will laugh. But I promise you once we execute the plan, the only ones laughing will be us and our 100 student freshman class of 2030.

I will deliver excellence! My promise is you will always be put first! You will always be treated with respect and dignity. I will continue to upgrade our building. I will transition BC to a Nike school. I will bring new programs into the building through partnership with PNC Bank, Carlow University and CMU. I will allow you to dream big and chase those dreams. I will not answer requests with “no money for that”. All ideas a great! I want to hear them all. I will be in the building modeling the same behavior as I ask you to. BC will be fair, honest and a place where excellence thrives.

I need you all to walk the walk of Jesus. Be proud but not loud, be humble but push for excellence, make BC what you want to leave as your legacy. I need you as senior leaders to be role models for the rest of the school. It’s critical we have order in our hallways and lunch room. It’s critical that you take a younger student under your guidance to ensure they learn the right way of doing things. Everything we do is to prepare you to be positive, capable members of society. You are all going to do go out in the world and have a positive impact. How you present yourself now, is how you shape yourself for later!

Now, BC is a family and no one and nothing comes between family! It’s personal now. God, Family, Country!
