18 Bishop Canvin students traveled to John Morrow Public School on November 15 to teach the Junior Achievement program of Financial Literacy, Global Marketplaces, and Work Readiness to 6th-8th students. This is the first time Canevin has taught the JA program in a public school. They are adding BizTown to their list of travels, as well as teaching on upcoming days at John F. Kennedy Elementary, Guardian Angel Academy, Archangel Gabriel School, and Crafton Elementary. Canevin has partnered with Junior Achievement since the early 1990s. Besides instructing the students, Junior Achievement empowers Canevin students to be effective communicators, diligent time managers, and strong leaders.
