Bishop Canevin has various retreats that are offered throughout the year for their students, including all the class retreats and a new Metanoia retreat that is offered to upperclassmen. Each of these retreats is centered on growing our students’ relationship with God and the Bishop Canevin Community. All retreats begin with mass and remain focused on providing the students with the tools they need to stay connected to their faith.
The Kairos Retreat is the upperclassmen retreat founded in the Jesuit Tradition. This retreat focuses on life after high school, navigating in a culture that does not always support our faith. The retreat is also student lead, allowing the Bishop Canevin Seniors the opportunity to take on a leadership role within their faith life.
At Bishop Canevin, prayer is built into the culture of our school. We pray as a whole community in the morning and in each of our classes. The Bishop Canevin community is committed to developing an authentic and meaningful prayer life.
